Reaching 100,000 tons in table grapes exports in only 10 years, with perspectives of double that amount in the next five-year period, deserves the organization of a high level event that call the most qualified national and international speakers specialized in the subject.
The SIUVA 2011 (XII International Symposium of the Table Grape) is, as its name says, the twelfth version of this great event, which is upheld in the laudable effort done by a group, each time greater, of businessmen and farmers established in the Peruvian coast; from Piura in the north to Tacna in the south.

Effectively, if Ica is still the main vine-growing region of the country, the north of Peru – particularly the regions of Lambayeque and Piura – is also going for this noble crop, with surprising initial results referred to quality, yield and season of the fruit. And, no needless to say of what is bringing Arequipa, Moquegua and Tacna, to the south of the country. Maybe, the best provided region to produce the best table grape of the world.
Undoubtedly, there is no event that have gone so near and with so much success with the outstanding development of the business of the Table Grape in Peru.

The international event that we will carry out in the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, the 6th and 7th of July, 2011; is directed to businessman, farmers, technicians, traders, bankers and, in general, to everyone that be interested in the development of the national vine-growing, facing to the each time more demanding world market of table grapes.

The participants of the SIUVA 2011 will have all the proper services of an event of world level; as simultaneous translation, video conference, internet, business meeting room, administrative assistance, etc.

Furthermore, simultaneously with the conferences of the SIUVA 2011, it will be carry out the traditional Agroshow; the best exhibition of equipments, tools, materials and, supplies and services; where you will be able to see and contact the suppliers of the most advanced on technology and modernization of the national and world agriculture.

This opportunity will be favourable for interact with the persons and/or companies that in one way or another are participating – or thinking on participate – in the development of the crop of greatest growing of the thriving Peruvian agriculture: the Table Grape.
